I highly recommend Virginia Photos and Films! Yesterday I had the most amazing photoshoot with Christal. Truth be told, I was not looking forward to it because I hate to have my picture taken. I tense up which, as you can imagine, doesn't make for good pics. Even my friends have said, "you look amazing in person but you are not photogenic." Well, Christal changed that yesterday. The photos she took were absolutely amazing. She captured the "real" me. What a truly awesome experience. Virginia Photo and Films is now my go-to photographer for my personal and professional photography needs. Thank you, Christal!
Our experience working with Christal was fantastic. Her friendliness and enthusiasm made for a great morning shooting our new headshots. The hardest part for us is deciding which ones to use because she gave us so many wonderful photos.
Christal and Andrew are an amazing team! We have used them for our family pictures and most recently for our wedding! They are professional and fun! Our guests really enjoyed the photo booth at our reception and our pictures from the ceremony are amazing! Christal and Andrew were able to capture a ton of great candid shots which really showed the fun our guests were having, ensuring we have great memories to last a lifetime! Christal did several meeting with me to insure that my husband and I would get the pictures we wanted! The day of the wedding Christal and Andrew showed up and started shooting all the pictures my husband and I requested. Most of all, they also got the videos we requested as well!
And, their turn around time was incredible, we had our wedding on Saturday night and by Sunday, we had all our pictures and videos.

5 stars wouldn't be a rating high enough! Absolutely wonderful to work with and the pictures were amazing (and we got them within a couple days)! We didn't have a lot of time for pictures but they were efficient and got all our photos with time to spare! Made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. They exceeded every expectation we had, in both experience and the quality of the pictures! Will definitely be recommending them to others!
I don’t have enough wonderful things to say about Marshall Arts Studio! Christal is absolutely amazing at everything she does. She was very intentional about the videography for the wedding and helped our photographer out a lot in making sure that the shots we had were clear of signs and had good lighting/angles. Christal put together the most beautiful videos of my wedding day that I will treasure for the rest of my life. She was also extremely quick in getting my video back to me and made sure I had the video within two days after my wedding! I can not recommend her more for photography and videography needs. I will definitely use her for any and all future photography and videography needs!!

Professional and hospitable experience. The studio is warm and inviting. The mood was so positive which just makes for great photo opportunities. Plus, I felt like every second was captured and no "I hope you got that" moments were missed. Phenomenal quality and overall experience.
This was our first family photo session since my daughters newborn photos. I honestly didn’t have high hopes because, well, toddlers and babies give you what they give you and don’t take direction very well. C did a great job corralling our little ones and even managed to get a few photos where we’re ALL looking and smiling. And many of my kids true attitudes that I’ll forever cherish. So thankful for the opportunity to work with this company!
Christal Marshall is simply phenomenal. It is clear to anyone that she has given countless hours devoting herself to her craft because of the sheer mastery she has obtained. She knows every lens and what it does, every angles effect on the human body, and every helpful comment to ease you and make you laugh. She captures real moments and makes you look better than you thought you could. She also has an incredible work ethic and is willing to be flexible; driving anywhere in the area or letting you come to her house in the middle of the week despite that she has a bunch of kids! She’ll work till 2am on your pictures the same day she took them so she can get them to you faster, whereas most photographers take a month. She also has a beautiful, clean studio with different colors and objects you can pose with to show range, and she helps you pick the best ones and makes you laugh in the process.
Christal will 100% get my business in the future and should get yours too because frankly, she’s far above all her competition.
HANDS DOWN!!! I had the best experience with both my engagement and wedding photography sessions. I love the fact that Christal has a no pressure approach as it can get kind of awkward at times (especially not being a professional model lol). All of my photos came out so beautiful! And the videography... brings tears to my eyes every time I see it. Definitely something that I will cherish and watch over and over for years to come! Not to mention I got all my pictures and videos the next day! If you are considering working with Christal
Amazing! They were both comfortable to work with, on time, fun, the photo booth was the biggest hit, and the pictures are fantastic! My husband and I keep looking through them all and saying we can’t choose the ones we want to print because they’re all incredible �

We LOVED our family session with Christal! Wow-her energy is contagious and it made the session fun and easy for everyone. She has a wonderful eye for capturing the perfect moment and I really feel like she understood our family's style. You can tell that photography is not only something she's skilled at, but something she truly loves to do. Absolutely recommended.
