How To See Things At a Different Angle
Everyone can point the camera directly in front of them? But can you be more creative than that? What about looking up, down or sideways?
I stand on chairs often, when I am shooting. Sometimes being really tall gives me a great angle to see something new!
I know my husband would be mad at me for standing a chair, even while pregnant! I even stood on a chair at a sweet 16 party to get above the crowd!
Food photography is the best example is getting an downward angle!
When I take pictures of children, I am known to get my pants really dirty and on the ground! I am trying to see what a kid sees...
I was basically squatting on the floor to get this picture of my son looking at the train.
I was standing on a park bench for this one... I love this little hair!
My camera was right on the table for this one.. I was actually afraid of getting hit! uh oh! But that is why getting a UV protective filter and a lens hood is so key to protect your camera. See this video for more:
I love "sneaking" in on my kids while they play. It makes the viewer really be at the kid's level and think like a kid!
I love using PRIME lenses! I can't say that enough! It really makes the lego city look like a magical place!
I was standing on another chair to get this one! I love how the light was spilling in from the window!
