Chesapeake Virginia Beach Newborn Photographer {Baby J} at the Studio of Hampton Roads

Finally Jumped into renting a studio space at the Studio of Hampton Roads (http://www.thestudiohr.com/). I especially chose this location because of it's special fully supplied newborn suite upstairs. Complete with over 100 different things to use during the shoot! This included: props, wraps, blankets, baskets, beanbag and changing table!

There are other photography rental studios in the area, but none that I have found have a speciality room for just newborn photography!

This was a new venture for me, since I usually travel to people's homes and have to bring EVERYTHING! And since I do have to bring everything, I waste time tearing down and setting up the home each session. So it was nice to just have everything organized right there for me!

I was nervous at first because renting a studio space was expensive for my regular prices. In fact, I will have to up-charge if I want to use a studio space in the future. But since we were trying it out and making it learning experience for me and my assitant, then it was worth it!

I also had a wonderful time with a returning family, where I have photographed their major life events over the past three years! So I was honored to be asked yet again!

Thank you little baby J for being so sweet and cuddily! I really appreciate it!
