Sandbridge Virginia Beach Proposal, engagement and wedding photographer and videographer- Aron and J

These two met in college in Oregon. Their travels landed to them living in Maryland.

They continued their journey to Virginia Beach where he contacted me to capture their proposal in SECRET? But how am I going to do that at the beach where there are wide open spaces and no where to hide? See more about the proposal here.

I love getting asked to not only film or take pictures of an actual proposal, but plan it, coordinate it and direct it.

This particular proposal all started THREE days ago when I got a text from a friend in Maryland. She said that one of her friends was planning on proposing to his girlfriend in Virginia Beach, but needed some guidance.

Since we live very close to there, we were able to coordinate a time, a place all of the details that when into the shoot.

My favorite detail was that it had to be SECRET. She couldn't know until the last possible moment. This made it difficult for the filming process because it was so windy and we had to hide a massive boom mic and wrap it about a post on top of the pier and dangle it down. We also had to wrap our cameras in sand-colored blankets so that they would blend into the enviroment. We also had to look like we were going to the beach and were tourists. So we dug out some beach chairs, wore swimsuits and waiting for Aron's text that they were coming.

Juliet became really smart and saw my husband with a tripod and the boom mic and was very surprised at first and didn't know what was happening, especially when she saw me stand up with a massive camera and saw me clicking away.

But all the nervousness melted when Aron got on one knee and opened a simple ring box to reveal an heirloom ring that had been passed down.

She said YES!
