You are Raising an Olympian
I want you to really listen to the message from the above video. I want you to be encouraged knowing that I make this inspirational content for ME! Because sometimes, I want to throw in a towel!
I've been percolating this idea for a long time of training olympians. I was actually inspired by a book I got from the library for the kids about the dedication that Michael Phelps had, even as a young person- often swimming 5 hours a days and forgetting a lot of things that most people would think about doing.
Then I saw more inspirational thoughts on a wheaties box at the grocery store about Michel Phelps so of course I had to write about it.
My graduateprofessor always said that "We aren't training our students to be greeters at Wal-mart. And that always just stuck with me- even 10 years later!
